Bring your family out for live music, sports, food, and, of course, fireworks, as we celebrate America’s independence on the Fourth of July in Denver. The following festivals and events will be the best bets for your Independence Day entertainment, so go ahead and plan to spend your holiday celebrating with the rest of the Denver community.
The City and Community of Arvada will host their Fourth of July Festival on Monday, July 4th at the Stenger/Lutz Complex beginning at 3PM. The afternoon hours will feature live music, food, beverages, kids activities, a car show, and more. The fireworks display will begin at about 9PM and last about 30 minutes. This is one of the most popular and safest Fourth of July fireworks demonstrations in the Denver metro area, so everyone in the family is sure to have a great time.
Blues Traveler, Matisyahu, and Toad the Wet Sprocket are set to take the stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison on July 4th. This diverse triple bill will be complimented by a spectacular fireworks display to end the night, so music lovers should go ahead and jump on their tickets.
The Colorado Rockies will host the Kansas City Royals at Coors Field on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with fireworks displays following the last two games. Sports lovers and Rockies fans are sure to enjoy the game atmosphere over the Fourth of July weekend while watching terrific fireworks.
