Denver ZooNow through January 2nd, the Denver Zoo is hosting the annual Zoo Lights show.  The zoo features more than 38 acres of property illuminated with holiday lights, including over 150 animal sculptures.

The Denver Zoo is committed to conservation, and 100% of the lights for the Holiday Lights exhibit are LEDs (light-emitting diodes).  These lights have very high efficiency as they use only about one percent of the energy that typical C7 holiday require.  This allows visitors to enjoy an amazing holiday light experience while very little energy is used.

Many of the animal exhibits will be open during the light show as well.  Some exhibits will be closed, buy you can see the likes of elephants, rhinos, and hippos while walking through the lights.  Indoor exhibits will be a great way to warm up in between outside strolls.

For more information about the exhibit and to purchase tickets, please visit the Denver Zoo website.  There are various discounts for members, bringing a can of food, and more.
