Did you know that psychological research has found that people who kept weekly gratitude journals exercised more regularly, had fewer physical symptoms, felt better about their lives as a whole, and were more optimistic about their future compared to others? They were also more likely to have made progress toward important personal goals, have positive moods, and better sleep. People who practiced daily gratitude reported higher levels of alertness, enthusiasm, determination, attentiveness and energy and were more likely to have helped someone with a personal problem or offered emotional support to another. And children who practice grateful thinking have more positive attitudes towards family and school!
Improve your life. Give thanks all year long!
