The Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball team based in Denver are getting ready for their 2011 season after a successful 2010 season. In preparation for their opening game this Friday, April 1, the team is hosting a “Rockies Workout for Charity” on Thursday, March 31. Proceeds for the event will go toward the Rockies Foundation and will feature a 90 minute workout by the Colorado Rockies. Tickets for the charity event are only $6 and parking fees are reduced to $5. The workout will begin at 2:10pm and gates will open at 1:00pm. The Rockies will also be available for autographs at 1:30pm for 20 minutes in the lower level seating at Coors Field in downtown Denver. Visit colorado.rockies.mlb.com to purchase tickets or call (800) 388-ROCK.
