realstatereportAs we enter the colder months, the Denver real estate market continues to heat up.

Housing inventory dropped yet again to reach its lowest level in the post-2000 era, and home sales are above the levels at which they were at the same point last year.

There were 14,156 listings on the market during the month of October, down 8.86 percent from the previous month and 33.73 percent from October 2010. What does this mean? If you are currently selling your home, you better not think about taking it off the market for the holidays. If you are thinking about selling your Denver home, then you need to move quickly. Less competition means you have a better chance to sell your home for the price you want.

Overall sales were up 12 percent for the month from October 2010. Average days-on-market also dropped 2.86 percent from the previous month and 1.92 percent from last October.

With inventory low and sales up, now is the perfect time to sell your home in Denver. Call me at 888-860-1931 if you would like to enter the market as soon as possible. I can also provide you a report of all the latest local real estate numbers.
