The Huffington Post is reporting that the city of Denver is “one of six lucky cities to have a True Food Kitchen— ahead of New York, Chicago and San Francisco.” True Food, created by Dr. Andrew Weill, “serves great food that just happens to be good for you.” What better city to expand to then Denver, which was ranked 5th in America’s Top 20 Healthiest Cities by Forbes magazine.
Currently their are three True Food’s in California, two in Arizona and one in Cherry Creek, which opened on Monday. True Kitchen uses all local, organic sources whenever possible.
Sara Davidson of the Huffington Post writes, “There’s no bread that lands on the table to fatten and fill you, and what I love is that a vegan guy and meat-eating girl can find happiness here. If your party includes a vegetarian, a person who can’t eat gluten, one who eats high protein and low-carb and another on the Ornish diet, there’s something great for them all, clearly marked.”
Have you visited the True Food Kitchen yet? We’d love to hear what you think!
