As different housing markets recover at different rates, it is evident that some areas are performing better than others. I am proud to say that the Denver market and the state of Colorado as a whole are outperforming real estate markets across the nation.
When considering the different rates, or shifts, of recovery, a recent S&P/Case-Shiller report said, “These shifts suggest that we are back to regional housing markets, rather than a national housing market where everything rose and fell together.”
This point is evident in the numbers that Denver real estate has been generating for the past couple of months. August home sales in Denver saw a record year-over-year gain, and it was recently released that Colorado foreclosures year-to-date are down 31 percent from 2010. While other cities and states have been seeing lower numbers, Denver and the rest of the state is bucking the national trend.
Call me at 888-860-1931 to learn more about the current state of the Denver real estate market and why it is considerably better than other cities in the United States. If you are considering moving to Denver in the comping months or year, now is a great time to become a part of this economic success.
