graduateThe Denver Business Journal‘s demographic trends recently revealed that Cherry Hills Village ranks 20th in the nation for graduate degrees among small communities (those with less than 10,000 people).

According to 2009 data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 45.8 percent of residents in Cherry Hills Village hold advanced degrees. In addition, 36.9 percent of residents have a bachelor’s degree.

Colorado also had other communities appear on the list of small towns with a high percentage of residents holding graduate degrees. Genesee ranked 51st, Castle Pines ranked 127th, Niwot ranked 205th, and Gleneagle ranked 239th.
