Denver is always packed with things to do over the long Labor Day weekend, so it is best to plan ahead so you do not miss out on something you really want to do. Here are three ways to spend Labor Day weekend with your family:

  1. A Taste of Colorado returns to Civic Center Park for four days of fantastic food from all over the Denver area. More than 500,000 people come out for this free event every year, which also features over 250 artisans and vendors;seven stages of live music and entertainment; and the LEGO Experience, which is always a favorite for the kids.
  2. There is more live music in Denver than most residents can comprehend, and that will not changed for Labor Day weekend. Red Rocks Amphitheater will host Alison Krauss and Union Station, Santana, and George Lopez over the weekend, while Phish takes over Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for three nights. There will also be many local and regional bands performing at smaller venues throughout the area.
  3. The Colorado Rockies will host the Arizona Diamondbacks at Coors Field for a matinee game on Monday, September 5th. Holiday game tickets usually sell out, so grab your tickets today to make sure you do not miss out.
